In this article, authors Gregory Ristow, Kathy Thomsen, and Diane Urista expertly offer a detailed look at one of Dalcroze's pedagogical innovations: eurhythmics. The presentation of practical and eminently musical exercises are drawn from Dalcroze's work; additionally the authors share their own exercises, methods of instruction applicable to all curricula and students at all levels. These exercises range widely, from tonal position finding to modulation and improvisation.Downloads
