Abstract

Guy Capuzzo revisits the omnibus progression by considering the omnibus in a new light, Capuzzo examines enharmonic transformation and modulation in the common-practice repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Brahms. Capuzzo then considers its role in post-tonal music.
